Omaru creek velocity

Tuakana Omaru creek  velocity 17/03/2017

Some days ago Room 7 & 8 went down to the Omaru creek. Before we went to the creek we had to make a paper boat because we were going to see the flow rate of the river. Because it has been raining we want to see how fast the water can flow. Once we got to the creek it was time to put in our boats into the water. Guess what ? It flowed, but not very far because of all the roots hanging above the water. .

Hi Tuakana I like the details that you have included in your writing. We had a nature walk as well, we took a lot of pictures and then we put them on our blogs. How long did you spend down by the creek?

Hi Allizzandro
Thanks for the comment. It took about 10 minutes because some boats didn't really float, it drowned and some just didn't move that much because of all the rubbish.
