Today I have been given a picture from my teacher to write a six word sentence about it. It got pretty hard sometimes but I got through it and made my 6 word sentence .

Title: Bonnie Blair- The winter Olympian
I learnt that Bonnie Blair's family had a hard time as she was poor. She couldn’t afford some things when she was young.
Visuals:Bonnie was a great speed skater
In 2004 she was elected by the United states onto the hall of fame and ot long after that she retired.   
Introductory paragraph: In the first paragraph they had talked about a mysterious lady . How she was good and a champion to her country.
In her first race she wasn’t good enough so she went back for training for 4 years then came back wanting another chance.
Key vocabulary:This talked about what it took for Bonnie's family to get her here and how hard it was to practice and practice at age 2.
Bonnie Blair was born on March 18th 1964.She was born in Cornwall, New York although she spent her childhood in Campaign , Illinois
Last paragraph: She set a new high record then retired but was still remembered as a champion to her country.
In the 1988 winter Olympics in Calgary, Alberto she won her first gold in the 500 meter race by just 0.01 seconds.

The promise
The promise is about 5 children 2 girls and 3 boys are stuck in a underground room. They don't have much food and water so they try and save the food and not eat it all at once. The bombing is still going on so they take cover hoping they will survive.

WALT - summarize the main ideas in each paragraph.

In my reading test I got a 4P . I am glad that I got a higher score than my recent that shows me that I am doing. I am learning lots in reading which is really helping me in my tests. Hopefully in my next test I will try my hardest to get a higher score.

In e asttle I got a 4P for my maths results which is great. I am also learning new strategies and adding it to the recent tests I have had. Knowing that I am learning more has really helped me in my test because I am determined to try my best at all times.

Second-Hand smoking is an ongoing problem. Many years people have lost their loved ones because of the effects of smoking  . The death of second - hand smoking is catching up to the rate of how many people that have died from smoking, this is increasing every time. That is why I am here today to tell you that second - hand smoking is harmful too.

Who in this room knows what second - hand smoking is? The meaning and the purpose ? Well second-hand smoking is like an exchange, like smoke being passed on. When the smoker exhales out smoke it is inhaled by anyone around or near them and  that is Second - hand smoking.

Being a second hand smoker, has many negative effects to your body like, Heart diseases, Lung cancer, a stroke and nasal sinus cancer. These are some of the illnesses that can affect you as a second hand smoker.

Some people say second-hand smoking is nothing compared to smoking.   What do you think?  This is not true.  Well Second hand smoking is harmful too.  Children who are second hand smokers are more at risk. Because children have smaller lungs it is too delicate to fight any diseases. When a child inhales smoke, more than 7,00 toxic chemicals are inhaled as well. This is slowly hurting them from the inside and surely they will die at a very early age.

Some time ago I found out about a 9 year old boy who has died because of second- hand smoking.It had happened because his parents kept smoking in the house. As he kept inhaling the smoke that lead him to heart disease and  ended up losing his life. The parents have stop smoking now but it is too late.  So let’s work  together to help smokers to quit smoking before innocent people will be dying from second hand smoking.



You can see from all the reasons I have shared with you today why Second - Hand smoking. I still truly believe that we need to do something because second hand smoking is a real killer now.  If we work together we can make a difference.

When I started playing this game I saw it was about the area of something or anything.  To play this game I had been given a number and a platform of small cubes to tell the area of something. I got a number that is 32 . So I had to figure out how much squares to use. By doing that I used the mouse and dragged it from the top left corner . The number that was given to me was an answer for a multiplication sum. To do this I needed to multiply the length with the width.

How to make a cementing mug ?

Materials You May be needing ?
  1. 2x Big long flat wood
  2. A working bench as well a saw
  3. A hammer/Nails Too
  4. Mug/Bowls/Spoons Choose any but only 1
  5. Cardboard
  6. Mini sized hooks
  7. Sellotape
  8. Paint Brushes and paint
  9. Small Ice cream sized container
  10. Cement
  11. NewsPaper/ but only if its rubbished
  12. Plastic cup
  13. Scissors
  14. Stick from a tree

DEfinition:
This is an Artwork that my class has done but it is not that hard to do.

Description:
Rm 7 has done a magnificent kind of art that may contain a lot of tools. We used a range of tools and has put a lot of effort in this to make it. This Cementing mug can be used by any mug you wished for. Well let's get started.

Proccess:
First you want to make a frame for your cement to go into. TO start of you must get your working bench as well with your saw and Your 2x Long flat wood. Next you want to cut your wood into four pieces but 20 cm long. You can use a ruler or a Measuring stick to Measure it. Then you want to grab a Hammer and some Nails. For this part you would next Hammer in the nails from the sides. This only contains 4 nails and then once you're done it will look like a frame .

Next you will grab a cardboard and cut it out , make sure that the Cardboard is big enough to fit it on . Then you want to place the hook somewhere on your cardboard making sure that you sellotape the bottom of the hook to keep it sticked. Then you want to grab your frame and put it on the sellotape leaving the top of the hook outside of the frame. Then once you place the frame down you next want to sellotape the frame to your cardboard but on the outsides. Once your done that you will put something underneath you cardboard to hold it once you put the cement in.

Then you will start making the cement. SO You will grab a Ice cream bowl sized and a normal plastic cup. Now you will put 2 1/2 cups or 3 cups full of cement into the bowl. Using the same cup you will put 1 cup of water in your mixture. After that you will mix it with a stick from a tree for about 5 minutes or 3 until you have mixed all your cement. If you have finished making the cement you can then start putting it in your frame. You want to pour it all in and even if you have to you can use your hands to get all of it. Then You will use your hands to flatten it to be straight as well as  to size it to make it sized.

After that you can Leave it somewhere to dry off for about like 3 or 2 days. Once it is past 2 or 3 days you can take it out. By taking it out you can use for finger and push it down from the corners or sides. Once your done that if you can some cement sticking out from the sides you want to take one piece of the wood of and start scraping the sides. You do not want to put that much pressure on it because it could sometimes break . Finnaly once you're done you can then choose any colour of paint you would like then paint it on your cement. Then you just let it dry. So there you have it, that is how to make a cementing mug.

In this game I have been learning about fractions also playing around with it. As I was reading the instructions I got my head around that which made me know how this game worked. When I started to play I had to put fractions on one whole square trying to use different kind of fractions. When I was dragging the fractions I had to figure out a way to use different kinds of fractions in different spaces. I managed to use some fractions but left a little space which I had to look for other fractions to put in their. I use my strategies to find a fraction that could fit in and it was either ½ or ⅛ .If this game worked on me I am sure that it would help you learn how to work your ways around fractions by just going on Interactive maths games.com.

Taste :
Sweet
Smell :
Smells sugary
Hear :
My mouth chewing on the chocolate with it sticking onto my tongue .
See :
The people putting the chocolate in their mouths.
Feel :
I could feel the chocolate sticking my mouth up with that tacky feel .


Just as I saw the sweet chocolate my teacher was handing out chocolate I could already start tasting the chocolate in my mouth. Just as it was placed out in front of me I could smell that sweet sugary smell coming up my nose. As I grab it to take a bite it felt like I was in heaven. As I was munching it I could taste bursts of flavours going down my throat. When I just demolished it I wanted more that I would die for it.
